Classrooms
Spacious, air-conditioned classrooms furnished with state of the art multi-media, including DVD, digital projectors, internet connections and audio equipment, provide an optimum learning environment.

Student lounge
The student lounge is where we welcome you to eat, drink, relax and chat with friends. There is a student library with access to books, magazines, DVDs for students to borrow while they are studying with us. Please see Student Services to request borrowing other language learning materials for self-study.

Computer Facilities
With computers dedicated to student use and free WiFi available at the school, students have access to countless resources to allow students to practice their English language skills, maintain communication with their friends and family in their home countries, and complete tasks and assignments for their classes.

How will I know my level of English? expand
Once you begin the registration process with your Student Advisor, you will be able to complete the online placement test to determine your general English level. On your first day of school you will be placed in the appropriate class based on a test of your written and oral English skills.

How many levels are offered? expand
There are 18 levels offered. Level 1 begins with Introductory English for those who need to start with their first words of English and continue through to High Advanced III, which is equivalent to the score of TOEFL 600 or IELTS 6.5

How long does each level last? expand
Each level is 4 weeks. You must pass two exams per level in order to advance.

What is the class schedule? expand
Students have the option of choosing the Intensive English or Power English Program.
Power English allows the student to earn an additional certificate for successful completion of a 12 week Power English program. Students can improve their communication skills as much as 30% faster in this program, and will benefit from additional homework support and the chance to write level tests to progress faster through the 18 levels.

There are a wide variety of courses on offer for our students, based on which schedule option you choose. The flexible course options allow you to focus on a main class in the first part of the day and the elective classes help you to improve on your weakest areas in your choice of 12 different classes.

How can I prepare for my future? expand
Counselors are happy to assist students with registering for different English language exams while they are in Canada. Our most popular exams are TOEFL, IELTS and the new Cambridge International Certificate in Financial English (ICFE).
Also, for students interested in continuing their studies, our Student Counselors can assist with applications to Universities in Canada, and professional programs with LSBF in Toronto, in the United Kingdom or online.
