Experience UK and meet people from all over the world as you learn English. At our campuses, we offer the same high quality tuition and comprehensive student support to 16 and 17 year-olds as we offer to our adult students. We organise both high standard accommodation, and a varied social programme. Students will be introduced to the very best the UK has to offer, visiting famous historical sites, cultural attractions and sporting venues. These activities and trips will allow students to socialise with classmates, discover English culture and practise their language skills.
Both our activities calendar and our courses take into account the educational and personal needs of students aged 16 and 17. That's why our LSBF Life service provides you with conveniently located accommodation, meals (upon request) and even airport transfers. We can also tailor our courses for teacher-led groups of 8 or more students.

How does LSBF School of English teach students aged 16 + year olds?
We use various integrated teaching methods at LSBF School of English, including task-based learning and a communicative approach. All classes are relevant, stimulating and encourage students to develop their communication skills, whilst equipping them with the grammar and vocabulary needed to improve their language level.
They will benefit from 15, 20 or 30 hours of class time per week, and have plenty of opportunities to practise their English in real-life situations. Optional leisure activities, accompanied by teachers or a guide, allow important interaction with other students and native English speakers.

Accommodation expand
Where will students live?
16 to 17 year olds are accepted on the basis that they will take half board homestay accommodation through LSBF School of English, or will stay with a parent or legal guardian.
Will students who speak the same language be living together?
We make every effort to ensure that students who speak the same language are not placed in the same homestay accommodation. However, during periods of high demand, such as July and August, this may not be possible.
Will students have their own rooms?
Yes, they will be allocated a single room. However, if they want to share with a friend of the same sex, this may be possible upon request.
What will be provided with homestay accommodation?
All rooms are comfortably furnished with a wardrobe, drawers, a desk and a chair. Students will be provided with bed sheets (changed every week) and the use of a washing machine (or their clothes will be washed for them).
What will be the meal plan during students' stay?
The family will provide a continental breakfast and evening meal. Should students have any dietary requirements or special requests, please let the accommodation office know at the time of booking.
