ielts preparation courseThe IELTS examination is the leading academic test of English Language globally. IELTS is jointly managed by British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL) through more than 500 locations in 130 countires. The IELTS preparation course provides students with the skills needed to attain the entry requirement for university entry by developing key study techniques and methods.

Who is this course for?

For students who want to focus only on the skills needed to achieve at IELTS. These courses are ideal preparation for Pre-University students who require in-depth training in IELTS preparation in order to get their required score.

How many hours per week will I study?

You can choose to study 15, 20, 25 or 30 hours per week. (20 hours per week minimum required for non-EU students)

Entry Criteria

There are three levels: Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced.  A student should have the equivalent of IELTS 4.5 to join the Foundation course, 5.0-5.5 for the Intermediate course and 6.0 to join the Advanced course.Upon arrival students will meet with a senior member of our staff to ensure that they are being placed in the appropriate level in order for the student to meet their learning objectives.

How can I progress after this course?

The IELTS courses are ideal preparation for students planning to study at Undergraduate, Postgraduate or Professional programmes at the London School of Business and Finance or who are continuing their studies with another university in the UK.

PLEASE NOTE: Students must be 18 years or older to participate in any LSBF
School of English course.
IELTS testing fees are NOT
